Repentance and Alms

Alms - Al sadakat - are one of the really needed deeds we all should do as it's so clear in the following verses from Sorat At-Taubah.

And others have confessed their faults, they have mingled a good deed and an evil one; may be Allah will turn to them (mercifully); surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - 102 - Take alms out of their property, you would cleanse them and purify them thereby, and pray for them; surely your prayer is a relief to them; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing. - 103 - Do they not know that Allah accepts repentance from His servants and takes the alms, and that Allah is the Oft-returning (to mercy), the Merciful? - 104 - At-Taubah

Boycotting ...

I've been boycotting American products for a long while now and that was extended to all Israel's defenders and those countries that offended the Prophet (PBUH)

Those days after all what is happening in Lebanon and Palestine, I believe it's the least we can do is to continue our boycotting and even spread it more as much as possible, after all Allah the Almighty directed us to do so as it is so obvious in the following verses.

You’ll find that in the 1st verse, Allah the Almighty is telling us not to take sides with our and His enemies

If we won’t be able to affect them financially at least we’ll be doing the right thing.

O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path. 1

Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong. 9

(O ye who believe! Turn not (for friendship) to people on whom is the Wrath of Allah, of the Hereafter they are already in despair, just as the Unbelievers are in despair about those (buried) in graves.) 13

Al Motakeen (The Righteous) Description ...

Who are the righteous (al motakeen)?
Those who are promised the Garden of Eden whose width is that of the heavens and earth...

Their description is not that hard and not that far from being any of us ...

Read ... And try to be among them ...

Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous, - 134 - Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good; - 135 - And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah.- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. - 136 - For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!

Almighty & His Prophet (BPUH) In Human Lungs ...

I came across this, and only God knows if it's true or not, but at least it'll always makes you wonder ...

"This is the pattern of air tubes in the lungs of all human beings. The pattern has been worked out with extreme precision on a computer in Saudi Arabia. The air pipes are distributed in the shape of the declaration of the Islamic creed in the Arabic language that affirms the Oneness of Allah and the Prophethood of Muhammad (SAS). It reads "La Ilaha Illallah Muhammad-un-Rasullullah." There is no deity but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
This discovery is no surprise. Allah has revealed in the Holy Qur'an:

"Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?"
Fussilat - 53

Mohamed (PBUH) ...

One of the best songs ever ...

Looking what what happened in Denmerk and a lot of the European countries and the main reason behind it and the way they see our Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) makes me always go back to one of the best songs I ever heard ...

Sami Yusuf's Muhammed from his Album My Ummah ... The song was written by Sami Yusuf and Bara Kherigi and composed by Sami Yusuf ...

Every day I see the same headlines
Crimes committed in the name of the divine
People committing atrocities in his name
They murder and kidnap with no shame
But did he teach hatred, violence, or bloodshed? No... Oh No

He taught us about human brotherhood
And against prejudice he firmly stood
He loved children, their hands he’d hold
And taught his followers to respect the old
So would he allow the murder of an innocent child? Oh No...

Muhammad ya rasulallah
Muhammad ya habiballah
Muhammad ya khalilallah
Muhammad

Muhammad ya rasulallah
Muhammad ya shafi’allah
Muhammad ya bashirallah
Ya rasulallah

Muhammad the light of my eyes
About you they spread their lies
If only they came to realise
Bloodshed you despise

Muhammad ya rasulallah
Muhammad ya habiballah
Muhammad ya khalilallah
Muhammad
Muhammad ya rasulallah
Muhammad ya shafi’allah
Muhammad ya bashirallah
Ya rasulallah

What to say when you are 40?

Here is what we all should say when we are 40, it’s so simple, clear and greatly rewarded inshaa Allah …

(We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam.") 15 (Such are they from whom We shall accept the best of their deeds and pass by their ill deeds: (They shall be) among the Companions of the Garden: a promise! of truth, which was made to them (in this life)) 16

Al Ahqaf 15-16

Simple Recipe for a Great Prize

This is a very simple recipe for a great prize inshaa Allah ...
It describes Allah's true believers (3ebad Al Rahman) and there acts and deeds by which they are rewarded الغرفة(A very high rank in heaven) inshaa Allah by being patient in obeying God's orders and they will receive salutation and peace from the Angels inshaa Allah.

We can summarize it into 12 points, 2 of which are sayings and the rest most of them we do anyway ... so lets try to make it a checklist to live our lives on and may Allah accept all our good deeds

(And the servants of ((Allah)) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!") 63 (Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing) 64 (Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous) 65 ("Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in") 66 (Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance) between those (extremes)) 67 (Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.) 68 ((But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy) 69 (Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds, for Allah will change the evil of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful) 70 (And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion) 71 (Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honorable (avoidance)) 72 (Those who, when they are admonished with the Signs of their Lord, droop not down at them as if they were deaf or blind) 73 (And those who pray, "Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous.") 74 (Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace) 75 (Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest!) 76

The Prophet’s (PBUH) Manners

One of the great stories that show the great manners of the Prophet (PBUH) is that of his Jew neighbor.

This neighbor kept annoying, insulting, and hurting the Prophet (PBUH) everyday as he hated him, one of those days that neighbor didn’t come to the Prophet (PBUH) and hurt him, so the Prophet (PBUH) was worried about his neighbor and went to visit him in his home and make sure that he is ok.

The Jew neighbor was shocked oh the visit, so the Prophet (PBUH) told him that neighbors have rights for each other.

The Jew neighbor was really shocked of the Prophet’s (PBUH) manners and became a Muslim instantly holding the Prophet’s (PBUH) hands.

His great manners should lead all of us to become peaceful and feel the greatness of Allah the Almighty as well as being forgiving and always deal with all people regardless of their religion seeking Allah’s satisfaction in everything we do.

And lo! Thou art of a tremendous nature - Al-Qalam(The Pen): 4

Peace be upon him …

What is Hadith Qudsi?

Hadith Qudsi are the sayings of the Prophet Mohamed (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) as revealed to him by the Almighty Allah. Hadith Qudsi (or Sacred Hadith) are so named because, unlike the majority of Hadith which are Prophetic Hadith, their authority (Sanad) is traced back not to the Prophet but to the Almighty.

Among the many definitions given by the early scholars to Sacred Hadith is that of as-Sayyid ash-Sharif al-Jurjani (died in 816 A.H.) in his lexicon At-Tarifat where he says: "A Sacred Hadith is, as to the meaning, from Allah the Almighty; as to the wording, it is from the messenger of Allah (PBUH). It is that which Allah the Almighty has communicated to His Prophet through revelation or in dream, and he, peace be upon him, has communicated it in his own words. Thus Qur'an is superior to it because, besides being revealed, it is His wording."
